Problems with Google Reader Google Talk Integration

So Google has added a feature so your shared items can be viewed by your Google Talk Friends..

I found the following Problems with this integration.

1) Redundant Posts:
But I see a lot of entries which was shared by me as well(or simply are among my read feeds from within Google Reader) and which are marked as unread to my surprise.

Specially for shared items, I guess it goes in an infinite loop. I share a post ... my Friend sees it and shares it I see it again and forgetting if I had shared it last time I share it again and so on... (All this with a Single Friend)

Its very annoying and wastes time to have to go through the same post again.

2) Too many Posts shared by Friends:
The number of feeds that I go through becomes almost 1.5 times that of the original because of the shared items from my Friends.
Possible Workarounds:
Google Reader can include rating blog items to have some kind of help on decision making on the reader's part.
